Saliva Theory

Pretty women make men's mouths water-recently a group of researchers of the University of Chicago in America have tracked out it's truth in a scientific research.

It has revealed in their study that male saliva undergoes dramatic changes during small conversation with attractive female. It suggest they almost start drooling the briefest of flirtations with the opposite sex.

The research scholars at the university of Chicago have revealed a facts and figures after a test between some college students that after just five minutes talking to young women, men's saliva undergoes significant changes.

Those who took part in the study all of them were heterosexual. Results reveal that no change was noted in the saliva of those paired with other males, but the most dramatic changes were noted in men who appeared to be trying impress. It seemed those paired with young women produced saliva containing high levels of the male sex hormone testosterone.

Dr James Roney of the institute for Mind and Biology at the University of Chicago led the research. He said "I would not say that the men were actually drooling but there were significant changes to their saliva. After these conversations with the women, they showed a major testosterone increase".

It may be mentioned that the women who took part in the study were not professional models or exceptionally pretty-suggesting that any women (Pretty or Ugly) may have the power to make men's mouths water.

It's appeared that when men see women attractive, their brains send messages to the pituitary gland, triggering production of testosterone. Changes in the level of the hormone is easiest to test in saliva.
