Celebration Of My Friend's Birthday...

It was 10th February of 1988. He was sixteen. Starting of the day was very charming that different from other days. A beautiful morning of winter season. His mother woke up him early in the morning. She told him "there is a surprise today for you. Today is your Birthday". She also gave him

a description that she had taken various kind of preparation to observe his birthday celebration, as it were, he do something in that connection. Believe it, he had been beside himself with joy.

He took part quickly to arrangement of his birthday celebration as his mother told too. He decorated his reading room and bedroom nicely. He also cleaned his beloved the piano. He invited to all his friends. They came in advance and also cooperated with him gladly to make more delightful and cheerful the birthday ceremony. Really it was a pleasant day for him.

He and his friends were busy all day long. They cleaned the house nicely and decorated well with flowers, balloons, stickers and various kind of elements of birthday ceremony. As a result, my friend's house became a festive mode within a sort time. They ordered a birthday cake of big size. His father brought a fine new dress and his mother was going to buy a pleasant surprise for him.

They all wore new and glittering dresses. The cake arrived in time. Different kinds of food were placed on the table. They were waiting eagerly to start the birthday programme. His parents and other family members arrived at the programme venue. Almost of his invited guests and kith and kin began to arrive soon by twos and threes. Some guests brought beautiful and costly birthday gifts too. Everybody arrived at the evening 7.00 pm. They all stood around the dinning table.

He merrily cut the cake. Around of applause followed. Full plates delicious food items were handed round. Everybody fell to with a good deal of zest. The function was full to the brim of talking and giggling. All the guests took meal with satisfaction. A few of his friends sang some heart touchable song playing the piano. His father hired a professional cameraman. His camera was clicking on. The camera took many pictures of some rare moments and joyful times.

His father sent some packets of food to near by a orphanage and to poor relatives who had not arrived at the ceremony.

After all, the celebration of his 16th birthday was through pomp and grandeur environment.

To be honest, It was a splendid celebration that isn't worth forgetting.
