Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg Donates $25 Million for Ebola


On 14th Oct, Tuesday, the world's top social networking website Facebook founder and chief executive Mark Zuckerberg announced that he and his wife Pricilla Chan are donating $25 million dollars to prevent the deadly Ebola virus In Bangladeshi currency that will be 193 crore 50 lakh. This deadly disease already has killed more than 4,000 people in west Africa.



The Facebook founder family decided to donate the huge amount of donation-money to the U.S. "Centers for Disease Control Foundation". 


Zuckerberg who is 30-years-old and worth $32 billion, expressed his will in a Facebook post. The Reuters news agency reported the news.

Zuckerberg wrote in the post:


"We need to get Ebola under control in the near term so that it doesn't spread further and become a long term global health crisis that we end up fighting for decades at large scale, like HIV or polio," Zuckerberg, who is worth $32 billion, said in a Facebook post. "We believe our grant is the quickest way to empower the CDC and the experts in this field to prevent this outcome."

Health officials in the U.S. stressed that the best way to prevent an outbreak of Ebola in the U.S. is to control the virus at its source.

We all should be aware about the deadly Ebola and our government should take effective measures to protect from the attack of this disease to our country immediately.
